Born for Adventure

Explore Maple Ridge was created with the help of Our Maple Ridge to help those discover adventure. It is our goal to provide access to information on how many amazing, unique and natural outdoor activities are available right in your own backyard. Maple Ridge is the geographic centre of the Fraser Valley and has all you need while only being a short drive to everything in the Lower Mainland.

The Wild Within

Maple Ridge is a hidden gem when it comes to where you “want” to live and “what” you can do in the Lower Mainland and British Columbia. Ever since the installation of the new Pitt River and Golden Ears bridges Maple Ridge has become a much more accessible place to live.

It has almost everything required for an outdoor adventure activities centre and is in the geographical middle of the entire Fraser Valley from West Vancouver to Hope. We look forward to seeing you here for your next outdoor adventure!

We Love Maple Ridge

See everyone who loves Maple Ridge.

My friends live in Maple Ridge and I visit them often. Each time I visit I discover something new that I never knew existed. Just recently discovered fishing is only two streets from my friends front door!

I love Maple Ridge for its huge expanse, but small-town feel. There are loads of outdoor activities right at our doorstep and tons of local shops full of great finds! I grew up here, so I have fond memories of going out to the lakes and rivers as a kid, and I have been able to attend various community events. Maple Ridge is a great place to work, play, and call home.

I love living in the shadow of the mountains, and having gorgeous lakes and rivers minutes from my door. I'm an avid hiker, and Maple Ridge has a great range of easy trails, to challenging overnight trips. It's also really dog friendly! Evan's Valley in Golden Ears park is a really nice day hike. The ice caves in the spring are very neat, and the converging waterfalls and pools are great spots to stop for lunch! Maple Ridge is a great place to go play outside.
